New Delhi. The government is not allowing Delhi Women’s Commission Chairperson Swati Maliwal to go to Manipur. This claim has been made by DCW President Swati Maliwal herself. Swati Maliwal wanted to go there after the video of the brutality of two girls in Manipur went viral, but the government is preventing her from going there. Swati Maliwal tweeted on Saturday at around 7 pm that she is going to Manipur tomorrow. But shortly after this tweet, Swati Maliwal tweeted another saying that the government is not allowing her to go to Manipur. She also criticized this decision of the government.
Though there is a lot of time left for the Lok Sabha elections in 2024. But the preparation of political parties has started.
