Durg. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to come to Bhilai in the first week of August to inaugurate IIT Bhilai. Information in this regard has been given to IIT on behalf of the PMO. However, the detailed information of the program has not yet been given by the PMO. It’s likely to be finalized in a week.
Member of Parliament, Vijay Baghel is in constant touch with the PMO. According to sources, PM Modi will inaugurate IIT by reaching Kutelbhatha Bhilai IIT Campus directly by air. The program is likely to last for about two hours.
It may be mentioned that earlier the Prime Minister’s visit was planned in the last week of May. But due to non-completion of water and building construction, the date of inauguration has been extended.
