Raipur: Aam Aadmi Party Chhattisgarh has released the list of mayor candidates first, leaving behind all the parties for the upcoming urban body elections. In the list released by State General Secretary Wadud Alam, the party has declared candidates for Bilaspur, Jagdalpur and Korba Municipal Corporations.
Aam Aadmi Party has made Khagesh Chandrakar from Municipal Corporation Bilaspur, Sameer Khan from Municipal Corporation Jagdalpur and Lakhani Sahu from Municipal Corporation Korba as mayor candidates. At the same time, Prakash Das Mahant from Municipal Council Katghora, Pankaj Sahu from Municipal Council Mahasamund, Amreen Nigrani from Municipal Council Basna, Mohan Kumar Senapati from Municipal Council Kanker and Vinod Sachdev from Municipal Council Kurud have been declared candidates for the post of President.
Along with this, the list of councilor candidates of many municipal corporations has also been released today. Aam Aadmi Party’s state president Gopal Sahu ji says that this time our party is strongly contesting the elections in the urban bodies of the state and many of our allies will win these elections. The state government is not able to work on the ground and is running only on the basis of announcements and advertisements, due to which the people of Chhattisgarh are fed up with this government and are looking for other options. This time Aam Aadmi Party will get full support of the people and the party will register a large number of victories in the urban bodies, panchayat and three-tier elections.
Aam Aadmi Party’s general secretary Wadud Alam ji said that many claimants have claimed their claim for the post in all the municipal corporations of the state, on which the list is being released as per the party’s process and after looking at the opinion of the public. Certainly, Aam Aadmi Party will win many seats in this election.
