Raigarh: The three-day National Ramayana Festival began today in Ram’s nanihal at Raigarh. From today till June 3, the Ramayana Festival will be organized will be organized with all religious fervour.
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel inaugurated the event today. The program started by lighting the lamp and singing the state song of Chhattisgarh. With the lines of “Ram Ram Jai Rajaram, Ram Ram Jai Sitaram” the whole stage became ecstatic and devotional. On the inauguration of the festival, CM Baghel was welcomed with a copy of Ramcharit Manas and a state pot.
It may be mentioned that national and international level artists are giving presentations on the occasion. People were present in large numbers in the visitors’ gallery. Beautiful hymns of Lord Shri Ram was being heard. During the program, Chief Minister Baghel honored the Ramnami sect. This community has dedicated its entire life to Ram.
