Sukma: In the joint meeting of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Fisheries, Horticulture and Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Collector Haris S instructed the concerned officials and employees to work in a planned manner for the successful implementation of beneficiary-oriented schemes at the ground level. Besides he also asked to motivate more and more beneficiaries to take benefits by giving information about the schemes. The Collector instructed to arrange fodder for the cattle by planting Napier grass in Gothans. He also instructed to ensure arrangements for fodder for the care of the cattle of Gothans by the end of this month.
The Collector further instructed to start the work of multi-activity in the rest of Gothan as well. Along with this, instructions were given to the nodal officers to ensure the work of filling the tank for vermicompost, besides purchasing the prescribed quantity of cow dung in all Gothans. He marked the place for planting fragrant paddy like Dubraj, Devbhog and instructed to store required quantity of seeds.
In the meeting, along with ensuring 100% e-KYC to farmers registered under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, with special attention to Mission Millet, the Collector asked to make all necessary preparations to give priority to small grain crops and promote them. Along with this, emphasis was laid on promotion of activities like farm yard, nursery, animal husbandry under multi activity. Assistant Director Agriculture PR Baghel, Assistant Director Fisheries Uday Sabnak, Assistant Director Horticulture Hitesh Nag, Deputy Director Veterinary Services Dr. Zaharuddin and other officers-employees were present in the meeting.
