Photography and videography banned inside Kedarnath temple..

New Delhi: Shri Badrinath – Kedarnath Temple Committee has banned photography and videography inside Kedarnath temple in Uttarakhand. Temple Committee has put up a board stating stringent action against those found taking photos or videography in the Kedarnath Temple complex.
Shri Badrinath Kedarnath Temple, Chairman Ajay Ajendra told the news agency ANI, “In the last few days pilgrims were making indecent videos and reels inside some pilgrim temple and were also making it viral. Therefore warning boards have been put up in Kedarnath.”

Shri Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee has put up board in the temple premises clearly written about prohibition of mobile phones. Besides, any kind of photography and videography are completely restricted. Moreover all pilgrims will be under the monitor of CCTV camera. Not only this, the Temple Committee has also asked to wear “decent clothes” from the devotees coming to Kedarnath and avoiding the tent or camping in the temple premises. It has also been written on boards both in Hindi and English in the temple premises that legal action will be taken against those who do not follow the orders.
