Preparations have been started for organizing the world famous Bastar Dantewada Phagun Mela. At the outset discussions were held for restoration of the dilapidated Bodh Raj temple.
Dantewada: Due to Corona, Phagun Madai was not being organized in a grand manner for the last two years. But this time seeing the situation normal, the District Administration and Temple Committee have decided that Dantewada Phagun Mela will be celebrated with pomp. For this, the Temple Committee is already inviting the deities to attend the Phagun Mela. On behalf of the Temple Committee, only seven people have agreed to come along with the deities from each village.
Special arrangements have been made for the farewell of gods and goddesses.
According to the villagers, all the rituals will be performed in the Phagun fair. After the conclusion of the fair, special care has been taken for the farewell of the deities. Along with this, there has also been a discussion on the restoration of the dilapidated Bodh Raj temple. Tourists from all over the country and abroad come to Dantewada to see every ritual and tradition and culture of the world famous Bastar Dantewada Phagun Mela.
