Corona test number is increasing continuously in the state, maximum 61,344 tests on May 6.
In the past one week, on an average, more than 57 thousand samples were tested daily, about 4 lakh samples were tested in a week.
Total 75.46 lakh samples examined so far in the state.
News Edition 24 Desk: Raipur: Number of sample tests is being continuously increased in the state for the identification of corona infections. On May 6, maximum 61 thousand 344 samples have been examined in the state. This is the highest number of samples tested in a day since the onset of corona infection in the state.
During the last one week (between 30 April to 6 May), a total of three lakh 99 thousand 059 samples have been examined. During this period, an average of 57 thousand eight samples have been tested. Right now, about 40 percent of samples are being tested by RTPCR daily. Since the onset of corona infection in the state, a total of 75 lakh 45 thousand 935 samples have been investigated so far. Out of these, 28 lakh 15 thousand 701 samples have been tested with RTPCR and 47 lakh 30 thousand 234 samples have been tested with antigen kit.
The number of corona tests per million population per day in the state is much higher than the national average. In Chhattisgarh, where 2116 samples are being tested per million population per day, its average is 1349 at the national level. Since the onset of corona infection, there is also a great difference in the national and state average of sample tests per one million population. During this time, where two lakh 62 thousand 712 samples have been tested per lakh population, at the national level only two lakh 24 thousand 024 samples have been tested.
Now the speed of investigation has increased with the introduction of RTPCR investigation facility in Kanker and Mahasamund in the state. Now, in the state, nine government virology labs and 31 true-nat labs as well as rapid antigen kits at sub health center level are being investigated for suspected corona patients. Preparations are on to start virology labs in nine more district headquarters of the state.
Last week, 59 thousand 436 on 30 April, 60 thousand 863 on 1 May, 42 thousand 032 on 2 May, 58 thousand 493 on 3 May, 57 thousand 034 on 4 May, 59 thousand 857 on 5 May and 61 thousand 344 on 6 May. The samples have been examined.
