News Edition 24 Desk: His Grace Dr. Philipose Mar Chrysostom, Valiya (Senior) Metropolitan of Mar Thoma Syrian Church, was called to eternity, at 1.15 am, today (05/05/21).
He was born on 27/04/1918 and has completed 103 years, last week. His Grace is the oldest Bishop in the world. His Grace was a very high intellectual, very humorous, and respected Bishop across the religious and political arena. The Mar Thoma community, and the Christian fellowships across the world have lost a vibrant philosopher and guide. His Grace Funeral has started in Thiruvalla-Kerala and will be laid to rest, tomorrow, 3 PM.
