The Home Minister further said, Chhattisgarh Police is serving the people with dedication. At the same time, effective steps are being taken against the Naxalites. Chhattisgarh will be Naxal-free before March 31, 2026.

Chhattisgarh Police has received this honor within only 24 years of its establishment, making it one of the youngest police forces to get this honor. This police force was formed after the formation of Chhattisgarh state in 2000.
