Raipur: Chhattisgarh will be the proud host of the 27th All India Forest Sports Competition 2024. This prestigious sports competition will be organized from 16 to 20 October 2024 in Raipur under the aegis of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India. This event is an important occasion for Chhattisgarh, which will showcase the sports talent of the state and the excellent efforts of the Forest Department.
In this sports festival, players of Forest Department from all over the country will participate in various sports competitions. The main attraction of the competition will be the presence of Paris Olympics 2024 medalist and world-renowned shooter Manu Bhaker in the closing ceremony to be held on October 20, who will encourage the players. The state’s preparations are going on in full swing under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai and Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap. Under the guidance of Principal Chief Conservator of Forests and Chief of Forest Force Shri V. Srinivas Rao and Nodal Officer Smt. Shalini Raina, the players of the state are working hard under the supervision of professional coaches. Adequate arrangements of high-class accommodation and nutritious food have been made for the players at Forest Complex, Pandri, Raipur, so that they can maintain their fitness and give their best performance.
