News Edition 24 Desk: The 27th All India Forest Sports Festival will be organised in the capital Raipur from 16 to 20 October, in which three thousand players from across the country will participate. Officials gave this information on Saturday. Officials said that the All India Forest Sports Competition was started in 1992 with the aim of promoting sports activities among the employees and officers of the forest department of the states in the country. Chhattisgarh is hosting this event for the third time.
He informed that Union Forest Minister Bhupendra Yadav, Cooperative and Forest Minister of Bihar Government Dr. Prem Kumar and World Cricket T20 Indian Captain Suryakumar Yadav will be attending the opening ceremony of the sports festival organized in Chhattisgarh on October 16 as special guests and will encourage the players. Officials informed that Manu Bhaker, who won bronze medal for India in shooting in the Olympic Games 2024, will be attending the closing ceremony.
