Jabalpur: Congress will follow the Karnataka formula to win the upcoming assembly elections in MP. Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi expressed her intentions along with her plan by giving 5 guarantees in Jabalpur. Priyanka also said that it is my responsibility to implement these things. ” I promise you that I will implement these announcements as soon as the Congress government is formed”.
Priyanka Gandhi started the Congress campaign by holding a public meeting in Gol Bazar. In her address, she attacked the BJP government of the state. Priyanka Gandhi started her address by saying Har Har Narmada, Narmada Maiya ki Jai. She said that MP is the heart of India, Jabalpur is the cultural center. Our India has progressed on the basis of these values.
Attacking the BJP government of the state, she said that our leaders used to do what they said, service was paramount, but for the last 18 years you are being used, exploited. Many announcements were made and not fulfilled. Our government was formed in the last election, but BJP usurped power by toppling our government with money power. Scams have become common in MP, there is a long list of scams. Unemployment is increasing here. BJP neither spared Narmada Maiya, nor Mahakal. BJP committed 225 scams, one scam every month, said Priyanka.
Referring to the Ladli Behna Yojana, Priyanka said that women are being lured because of elections. Why didn’t the government start this scheme earlier? Inflation is high in the state. She said that BJP leaders talk about double engine, youth are not getting jobs, papers get leaked. Dalits and tribals are being tortured. Everything is going wrong in the country and the state, but you are being told that everything is going well. The government did nothing for the farmers. Scam of 4 thousand crores done in compensation distribution. BJP can do anything for power. Some of our leaders also left their ideology and joined BJP.
Priyanka Gandhi told the people who came in the public meeting that the CM of your state is known for making false declaration. Announced 22 lakh jobs but could not even provide 22 thousand jobs. The announcement was not fulfilled even one percent.
Congress has waived the loans of farmers, gave 100 units of electricity for Rs 100, increased the social security pension.
Priyanka said that we have brought some guarantees for the people of MP, which we will implement. This is my promise-
1- Will give 1500 rupees to women every month
2- Gas cylinder will be available in 500, not 1000
3- 100 units electricity waived, 200 units bill halved
4- Will implement the old pension scheme
5- Will forgive the debt of the remaining farmers
She also said that we had made a similar promise in Karnataka and implemented it as soon as the government was formed. Earlier, Priyanka reached Gwarighat from Dumna airport where she worshiped Narmadaji. 101 pundits made Priyanka Gandhi worship Narmada at the ghat. Maha Aarti was performed after worshiping Narmadaji. Priyanka Gandhi sought blessings from Narmada Maiya with folded hands and then also performed Aarti.
