News Edition 24 Desk: Amid the lack of vaccine for the corona virus, Suresh Jadhav, executive director of the Pune-based Serum Institute of India, on Friday alleged that the government of India launched vaccination drive without taking into account the availability of vaccines and following guidelines of World Health Organization.
In India, vaccination campaign is being conducted to vaccinate all the people above 18 years of age from 01 May. But most states across the country are witnessing a shortage of vaccines.
Except for the age group of 18 to 44, even 45+ people are not getting the second dose of vaccine. In such a situation, the Serum Institute of India has said that the Government of India did not even look at the vaccine stock before starting the Corona Vaccination Campaign in the country and the guidelines of WHO have not been followed.
