Everyone’s solidarity and cooperation is necessary in defeating Corona: Chief Minister, Baghel.
News Edition 24 Desk: Raipur: Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel today inaugurated 100-bedded Jainam Covid Hospital in Jainam Manas Bhawan in front of Mana Airport in the capital Raipur. He inaugurated this free hospital built in collaboration with Jain society through video conferencing from his residence office in the capital. Jainam Covid Hospital is well equipped with facilities including ventilators, six ICU beds, 42 oxygen beds, pathology lab, ambulance and specialist doctors.
While Inaugurating the Covid hospital, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that along with the government there has been a significant participation of people from all classes and societies in defeating Corona in Chhattisgarh. This new hospital, established with the mutual support of Jain society and goverment, will further strengthen our fight against Covid. He expressed gratitude to the Jain society for this and said that according to their glorious tradition, they have taken effective initiative to serve humanity, even in this difficult situation. It is inspiring for other societies and organizations.
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said that the rapid growing infection during the second wave of Covid has presented many challenges across the country. Due to sudden increase in the number of patients, there was a shortage of resources. But the faster the infection spread in Chhattisgarh, the faster we have been able to control it. Here necessary resources including health facilities were rapidly expanded. Today, due to better covid management in the state, we have been able to reduce the pace of infection. Here, more people have recovered from corona during the last one week than they got infected with it. We are continuously expanding the facilities, following the strategy of testing and vaccination for the prevention of corona infection. He said that with the solidarity and cooperation of all, we will surely be successful in defeating Corona.
On this occasion, Health Minister T.S. Singhdeo, appreciated the cooperation of Jain society for the treatment of corona patients. Acharya Vijay Ratna Sundar Suri, President of Chhattisgarh Khadi and Village Industries Board Rajendra Tiwari, former Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh and former Public Works Minister Rajesh Moonat also gave their address during the video conferencing. Member of Parliament Sunil Soni, Parliamentary Secretary Vikas Upadhyay, President of Chhattisgarh Housing Board Kuldeep Juneja, MLA Satyanarayana Sharma, MLA Mr. Brijmohan Agrawal and Dharamlal Kaushik extended their best wishes.
