The Chhattisgarh Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of reaching the state around June 17. According to IMD data, there has been a lot of change in the onset date of monsoon in Kerala in the last 150 years. In 1918, on May 11, the monsoon knocked in Kerala. In 1972, the monsoon reached Kerala on June 18, the most delayed. Talking about Chhattisgarh, the Meteorological Department has confirmed the arrival of monsoon in the state by June 17.
