News Edition 24 Desk: The new Parliament House will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 28 May. To commemorate this historic moment, PM Modi will issue a coin of 75 rupees. The picture of the new Parliament House complex will be printed on this circular coin.

Satyamev Jayate will be written on the coin and Ashoka Pillar will also be engraved on the coin. The denomination of Rs 75 will be written at the bottom of the Ashoka pillar. On the left side of this coin made in Kolkata Mint, India will be written in Devanagari language and India in English. On its upper side, Parliament House will be written in Devanagari language. The year 2023 will be inscribed just below the picture of Parliament.


The total weight of a 75 rupee coin is 35 grams. It has a mixture of 50 percent silver, 40 percent copper, 5-5 percent nickel and zinc. An official of the Finance Ministry told that the Department of Economic Affairs will issue this coin. This is a commemorative coin.

It will be sold at the rate of around Rs 3800 per coin. It is noteworthy that 25 parties including BJP are likely to participate in the inauguration ceremony. 21 opposition parties, including the Congress, have decided to boycott the programme.
