Korba : BJP-Congress has put in all its strength for campaigning in the seven Lok Sabha seats of the third phase. Big election meetings have started for the last phase. Today on April 30, Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge will hold a meeting, while Union Home Minister Amit Shah will hold a meeting in Katghora under Korba Lok Sabha on May 1. Priyanka Gandhi can also hold a meeting on May 1. Mallikarjun Kharge will address a meeting in Janjgir-Champa on Tuesday.
Korba Lok Sabha seat is currently in the hands of Congress, Jyotsna Mahant is the MP here. BJP has fielded National Vice President Saroj Pandey as its candidate here. Guharam Ajgale from BJP is currently the MP from Janjgir-Champa seat, he defeated Ravi Parasram of Congress in the 2019 elections. While BJP will work on a strategy to win Korba, Congress will face the challenge of winning the lost seat of Janjgir.
Big meetings till May 5
For the last phase of elections in the state, the political meetings will remain in full swing from April 30 to May 5. In these meetings, along with political rhetoric, many burning issues will be discussed. For BJP and Congress, winning the seven Lok Sabha seats of the third phase is considered to be the most important.
