Raipur : After the Loharidih dispute of Kabirdham, the state government has taken another big action. The state government has removed Collector Janmejaya Mahobe and SP Dr. Abhishek Pallav. They have been called to the police headquarters. Rajesh Agarwal has been made the new SP of Kabirdham. Rajesh Agarwal is currently the SP of Balrampur Ramanujganj.
At the same time, Baker Vaibhav has been made the new SP of Ramanujganj. The collector of Kabirdham has also been changed. Gopal Verma, an Indian Administrative Service officer of 2016 batch, has been appointed as the new collector of Kabirdham.
In the Loharideeh arson case, the entire Rengakhar police station in-charge, 23 line attached staff, one ASI and one woman constable have been suspended. This same woman constable had beaten an unarmed girl in front of SP Abhishek Pallav. Now a new police team will investigate the entire case. Before this an IPS Additional Superintendent of Police Vikas Kumar has been suspended.
Rajnandgaon Range Police Inspector Deepak Kumar Jha has registered a case under Sections 103 (1), 103(2), 238(a), 191(2), 191(3), 189(5), 332(a), 324(6), 287, 310(3), 326 (g), 61(2) (a) of the Indian Penal Code in Rengakhar Police Station, Kabirdham district. Villagers have alleged that police officers/employees posted at Rengakhar Police Station have made illegal arrests during the investigation of the said crime and are being negligent in the investigation. Since the allegations of the villagers are of very serious nature, the following officers/employees posted at Rengakhar Police Station are transferred from Rengakhar Police Station to Kabirdham Protected Centre with immediate effect.
