ACB-EOW raid hideouts of liquor traders
Raipur: The campaign of EOW and ACB is going on in the case of liquor scam of two thousand crores in Chhattisgarh. Meanwhile, a big news related to the liquor scam is coming out. EOW has arrested Arunpati Tripathi, Special Secretary of Excise Department from Bihar. Arunpati Tripathi has been considered by EOW as the main character of the syndicate in the liquor scam case. It is being told that this morning ED has arrested Arunpati Tripathi, Special Secretary of Excise Department from Bihar and is bringing him to Raipur.
Here, raids of both the agencies are going on in many cities of Chhattisgarh since Thursday morning. The team of investigating agencies, which reached the hideouts of liquor traders in Raipur, Bilaspur, Durg, is examining the documents. The investigating agency has also raided the places of public servants.
ACB and EOW have raided the houses of two big liquor businessmen of Bhilai, Pappu Dhillon and Vijay Bhatia. More than two dozen officers of EOW reached the house of the liquor businessman and started the raid. During the raid today, many important documents and digital evidence related to the liquor scam of the former Congress government have also been found. The raid is currently underway. Within the last two years, ED and Income Tax Department have raided the houses of both the liquor businessmen thrice.
