Raipur: Large number of women in Chhattisgarh are enthusiastically visiting the camps organized by the district administration to register for Mahtari Vandan Yojana. The application forms for the scheme were made available for February 5 and the last date of submitting the application is February 20. So far 62 lakh 15 thousand 183 applications have been received under this scheme. Chhattisgarh Government is accepting the applications for this scheme through both online and offline mediums. It is noteworthy that more than 02 lakh 41 thousand applications were received from women across the state on the day of February 15.
Chhattisgarh Government is implementing Mahtari Vandan Yojana with the aim to promote women empowerment in the state. Eligible women beneficiary will receive benefits of this scheme from the month of March. At present, women are filling forms to register as a beneficiary for this scheme. For the convenience of women, camps are being held at Panchayat and Anganbadi level in all the districts. Every day a large number of women are showing up at the camps to enroll for the scheme. So far, more than 62 lakh 15 thousand applications have been received in the state through both offline and online medium. It is noteworthy that under Mahtari Vandan Yojana, State Government will provide a financial aid of Rs 12 thousand per year to the eligible woman beneficiaries.
