Sukma : A major incident has been reported from Sukma district of Chhattisgarh. A case of rape of a minor girl student studying in Government Girls Residential School, Errabor Pota Cabin has come to light.
The incident has shocked the district. It may be mentioned that that the victim’s family had given an application for the FIR to the police administration late at night. On the other hand, the officials of Potakabin had kept this matter secret for three days. After which POTA Cabin Superintendent Heena Khan and Assistant Superintendent Savita Verma were removed and suspended with immediate effect for not reporting the incident to the higher office.
After receiving information the SP and the Collector reached the residential school. Besides, Minister Kawasi Lakhma has ordered an inquiry into the entire matter. The SP has also constituted eight members team for investigation. Instructions have been given to take strict action against the ashram superintendent and staff.
Sukma SP Kiran Chauhan has constituted an eight-member team in this matter. The entire matter will be investigated in the team under the leadership of Konta Additional SP Gaurav Mandal. The Collector has also taken the whole matter seriously. The minister has taken information about the matter after discussing the whole matter with the collector and the SP. Along with this, instructions have been given to take strict action on this matter.
